My Reason for this Blog: Working Out

Hi! My name is Katie and I am a Junior at Kansas State University. I started this blog with my friend Adriana who goes to The University of Kansas. I know, I know you're all thinking how are you two friends? I don't really know either but she's pretty awesome! Anyway I thought I'd do my blogs about working out and eating right and what I do to tone my body and lose some weight. We are trying to get into shape for our Spring Break trip! I will be posting what I ate that day and how much, and what I did at the gym that day. If you have any comments about what you do for your work out or what your favorite healthy meals are don't be scared to let me know!<3

My Reason for this Blog: Motivation

Hi! My name is Adriana and I just really wanted to start a blog! I am a sophomore at The University of Kansas majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in dance! For a while now, I have wanted to start this, and my motivation, lol which I have none of, was my last semester. I have never been the smartest, or best at making time to study, and my grades kinda showed that, oops.. Anyway, I felt that by posting what I do and what I NEED to do would be beneficial to my unmotivated lifestyle. I will be posting my planner, how I organize my desk, my schedule, and many other parts of my life. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to give me constructive criticism! ily <3

By making our own, we know exactly what is in them. I will add the recipe at the end of this post, don't you worry! As Katie put in her first post, we are getting prepared for our Spring Break trip! I think having these homemade, healthy granola bars will be an awesome, quick breakfast for my busy college mornings. I am NOT good at getting up early, working out, and making a healthy, hearty breakfast, so anything that lets me sleep in just that little bit longer, I am so down for! My favorite add-ins! Recipe for our Homemade Granola Bars! 4 1/2 cups rolled oats (We use 3 1/2 cups and 1 cup of flavored granola from Hy-Vee) 1 cup flour (I took out about 1/3 of the flour and added about 1/3 of peanut powder) 1 cup softened butter 3/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup of any type of add-in...
